The Whole Kit and Caboodle....
As a new venture, all of the images here have been captured with some pretty amateur kit. The art of field craft and persistence are responsible for the (hopefully high) quality of the shots, as well as a bit of luck and a little bit of skill (or so I'd like to think). But as I well know, its always nice to know what everyone else has got and what you could invest in to improve your own photos so here is a little guide to my kit bag...
Panasonic FZ-18This is my trusty bridge, or superzoom, camera which has served me well for the last three years. So called because its not quite an SLR and not quite a point and shoot, the panasonic "bridges" the two and is amazingly versatile. It doesn't have the large sensor or technical accuracy of a full SLR but does have a much better focal range and degree of control than a point and shoot. Its also somewhere in between size-wise so won't fit in a pocket but can be carried around all day without wrecking your neck!

...and that's it. I will always be on the lookout for new kit and will probably write about it here once I get it, but until then that's all folks!
